Signups for classes are happening now through February 22. Gloria Seitz, a certified K-12 art teacher, will be teaching classes on the topic of Pressing into Printmaking. In this seven week class, students will be learning the history and process of printing. Many types of printing will be explored. Depending on the age group, some of the processes we will be exploring include thumb, vegetable, butterfly, string, block, stamp, blot, Gyotaku, marbleized, eraser, and solar prints. This is a very exciting class as we will be engaging in lots of different kinds of processes. CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON THE WEEK OF March 1, 2, and 3, 15, and 16 AND END THE WEEK OF April 26, 27 and 28 of 2022. One week will be taken off for Gloria’s granddaughter’s arrival (tentatively March 15,16,17 ) and Spring Break (April 5, 6, and 7 ). The Art Festival will be held the evening of Wednesday, May 4.
